Hello friends who are reading this blog : ] This will be my last learning blog , meaning it will be the last one where I learn sign language. :( I have reached my destination/goal of learning all that I was going to for the beginning of sign language ( there is the picture of my work progress I had planned since the beginning of this project ). So , for this last learning blog which I used last Friday and continuing this week to learn how to sign common phrases and greetings, common questions and feelings. These were pretty easy and not that hard. [These were way better that learning the colors which were so difficult >< ] Except for t he common phrases were a little bit difficult because they were different and required a more difficult motion than usually required. I also forgot to mention that my main goal out of this project was to be able to learn enough ASL to be able to start a super SIMPLE conversation to someone who is deaf. ASL Clothing, Family, and People

“Family Signs in ASL.” Family Signs in ASL , ASL That, 3 Dec. 2013, www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUg1eKl65p4. Today I am learning how to sign pieces of clothing like shoes and shirts. They were very simple because the tool that I'm learning from (which is a pamphlet like thing) has a description of how to sign the piece of clothing which relates very closely to the actual word . For example, to sign the word shoes, you point your hands downward into the letter "S" sign and tap your hands together to represent the click of the shoe. I also learned how to sign names of people in your family members like your mom, dad, etc. And I also used learned how sign friend, boy, girl, etc. This video helped extremely well and I will probably use more of his videos.

ASL Numbers, Nature, and Weather

I also forgot to upload this so...... here it is!!! These are the ASL numbers (in case you don't know what ASL stands for, it stands for American Sign Language) which I did a while back didn't notice that I didn't upload it yet. There is also a number 10 for sign language but it got cut of sadly. Also I have completed the ASL nature and weather which was not that hard to be honest and took little time to memorize. Most of the hand motions for it was very representative of the meaning of that motion, so learning it wasn't that hard but it sure is exciting to learn more every week. :) <Also I made a poll on the top of the page so please go and vote on it. Thanks!!>
